On-page Digital Marketing

On-page Digital Marketing are the physical changes that are made to a website, this could include updating meta data, building internal links between pages, adding new content or updating some images.

Search Engines love fresh and regularly updated websites and that is why it is so important to consistently change what you have. Conversely, websites where content remains static for a period of time hold little appeal to search engines and slip down search engine rankings very quickly. Building a website and letting it sit there just isn’t enough.

This also includes more technical aspects such as making sure your website is fast and that it works just as well on a mobile device as it does on a desktop.

There are thousands of tasks that need to be undertaken. That’s why working with a Digital Agency that prioritises these tasks based on the positive impact they will have on traffic generation and leads is vitally important.

Off-page Digital Marketing

Off-page Digital Marketing are all the marketing activities that happen away from your website. Think of it as your company’s digital footprint on the internet. This includes paid advertising, external link building, PR, social media, guest blogging, Google reviews, in fact, anything that happens somewhere other than your website.

Some of this activity you can control and some you cannot, so it’s important to recognise that once you ‘put yourself out there’ you may attract both positive and negative comments, reviews and opinions. That’s why it’s important to monitor and address your customers online.

This off-site activity can help to bring more traffic to your website that wouldn’t have found you otherwise and so it’s important in any strategy to include a mixture of both. Off-page Digital Marketing will also have an impact on SEO and your search rankings and so it is an important element in any Digital Marketing plan.

What Type of Digital Strategy do I Need?

Whilst it’s important to have a Digital Strategy, it is something that needs to be flexible. A document that is produced today, could well be out of date tomorrow. This is why we don’t put together formal 50 page proposals and we don’t detail the minutiae of which tasks we will undertake. Why? Because it changes, it changes frequently, and our time is best spent ‘doing’ tasks which can make a positive tangible difference to your business rather than producing amended documents.

You know what you want to achieve, how your competition operates and if there are changes in the market e.g. a seasonal business. We work with you to understand as much as we can, it’s only then, along with our research that helps us to form a brief Digital Strategy. This gives us a starting point and one that we consistently review and change as time goes on. It works incredibly well for our clients and has seen us achieve some amazing results together.
